Stockholm (Sweden), 3 November 2022 – Sunweb Group (“Sunweb”), a Triton fund V portfolio company, has acquired Airtours (“Airtours”) Sweden’s fourth largest tour operator. Through the acquisition, Sunweb Group will complement its existing business in Denmark, establish a strong footprint in Sweden, and will become one of the leading players in the Nordics.

Sunweb, acquired by Triton in 2019, is a digital holiday expert and one of Europe´s largest tour operators. The company was founded in 1991 and serves over one million travelers every year in seven European countries. Airtours, founded in 1998, serves around 100,000 travelers annually.
