NORRES acquires Swedish industrial hose distributor Jarl Elmgren AB
Gelsenkirchen / Frankfurt (Germany), Halmstad (Sweden), 17 February 2020 - NORRES Group (“NORRES”), a portfolio company of the Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund (“TSM”), has acquired the Swedish hose distributor Jarl Elmgren AB (“Jarl Elmgren”). Terms and conditions of the transaction are not disclosed.
Jarl Elmgren is a specialist distributor of flexible hoses, offering a wide range of hoses and accessories. In particular exhaust hoses, vacuum hoses, dental tubing, hoses for ventilation as well as for transportation of liquids are distributed.
The acquisition of Jarl Elmgren is the second acquisition in NORRES’ history following the recent acquisition of De Bernardi. The transaction further contributes to NORRES’ internationalization strategy and significantly strengthens NORRES' market position in Scandinavia.
