Fonecta sells its data service to LeadCloud


Helsinki (Finland), 18 October 2019 – Fonecta, a company of the Triton III portfolio company European Directories, will sell its data services business to LeadCloud. This arrangement will create one of the largest players in the industry focused on targeting sales contacts.

The transaction as well as the transfer of Fonecta's data services, customers and 13 employees will take place on October 31 this year. Production and sales of customer data services will continue uninterrupted during the transition period.

“The combination of two strong players in the industry opens up entirely new opportunities for product development and offering our customers even wider packages,” says Hannu-Matias Nurmi, CEO of LeadCloud.

Cloud-based integration platform LeadCloud is a brand of LeadVenture Oy. In connection with the transaction, the business will receive a significant investment from Juuri Partners, a Finnish venture capital firm, which will also become the main owner of LeadCloud.

Fonecta will continue to provide its customers with comprehensive digital marketing and reputation management services with a focus on digital advertising, websites and web accessibility solutions. Fonecta's strength lies in its in-depth knowledge of Finnish companies and its long experience in digital marketing.

The data services B2B and B2C Focus Group Services, Information Services of the Population, Register Center and Traficom as well as Mail and SMS Services will be transferred to LeadCloud in the business acquisition. A service agreement with LeadCloud for a transitional period ensures uninterrupted service delivery to customers.
