AVS Verkehrssicherung has signed an agreement to acquire Gerding GmbH / MIS GmbH


Leverkusen/Senden (Germany), May 14, 2020 - AVS Verkehrssicherung ("AVS"), a Triton Fund IV portfolio company, has signed an agreement to acquire Gerding GmbH Verkehrstechnik and MIS GmbH ("Gerding/MIS"), a renowned provider in the field of traffic engineering based in Senden, Germany. Terms and conditions of the transaction are not disclosed.

Gerding and MIS, based in Senden/Münsterland, have 25 employees and many years of experience in traffic engineering and mobile traffic jam warning systems. With the planning, delivery and installation of traffic signs and gantries, Gerding works closely together with state developers, cities and municipalities as well as private construction companies throughout Germany. As a service provider, MIS GmbH offers fully automatic, self-sufficient traffic jam warning systems and mobile LED variable message signs.
