Stockholm (Sweden), 18 May 2026 - Funds advised by Triton Partners (“Triton”) have signed an agreement to sell Aleris Group (“Aleris”) to Mehiläinen Group (“Mehiläinen”). Terms and conditions of the transaction, which is subject to certain regulatory approvals and other customary requirements, are not disclosed.
Since acquiring Aleris in 2019, Triton Partners has worked closely with management to raise the quality of care and strengthen Aleris as a specialist healthcare provider across Scandinavia. Over seven years of partnership, Aleris has improved clinical outcomes, reduced waiting times, and treated increased numbers of patients across all three markets. Key initiatives include creating a more focused care portfolio by divesting non-core activities, completing bolt-on acquisitions in mental health, orthopedics and hospital-at-home, and investing in digital infrastructure including the MyAleris patient portal and digital psychiatry capabilities to modernise care delivery and improve patient experience.
During Triton Partners’ ownership, patient satisfaction scores rose consistently across Sweden, Norway and Denmark and Aleris deepened its role as a trusted, high-quality complement to publicly funded healthcare. Today, Aleris operates approximately 100 units across Sweden, Norway and Denmark, employs around 5,300 healthcare professionals, and serves approximately 3.8 million patient visits annually.
