Graeme Ardus recently joined the KPMG Future Summit in Germany, together with Dr. Thimo Stoll (KPMG), and Markus Bölke (Leadec), to discuss how sustainability can drive enterprise value, growth, and stronger exit outcomes across the portfolio.
Graeme outlined three key value drivers:
• Growth from businesses aligned with the energy transition
• Margin improvements through stronger ESG data and governance
• Higher exit values from more resilient businesses
Markus shared Leadec's experience, where a sustainability reporting requirement evolved into Green Factory Solutions, a decarbonisation service now generating double-digit annual growth, illustrating how sustainability can translate into new revenue streams and long-term value creation.
Under Triton Partners' ownership, portfolio companies are supported through the Accelerator Unit to build capabilities, track performance and drive operational and strategic improvements, with sustainability forming an important part of the value creation approach.
