Vejle (Denmark), June 12th 2026 - FairWind, a global wind energy services company and a Triton Partners portfolio company, has acquired Rope Partner, a Colorado-based provider of blade repair, at-height maintenance and inspection services for the wind sector. The acquisition strengthens FairWind’s service offering in the Americas, adding specialised capabilities and an established client base that complement FairWind’s existing installation and service expertise.

Rope Partner’s WindCorps technicians serve more than 40 wind energy asset owners and OEMs across the US, with a two-decade track record in blade repair, turbine cleaning, inspection and warranty verification services. The company also operates a purpose-built technician training facility in Denver, certified by the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT), and currently employs 135 people. Its customer base is anchored in asset owners and utilities, providing FairWind with direct relationships across a part of the market it has historically served primarily through OEMs.

The acquisition is part of FairWind’s broader strategy of growing its service capabilities and geographic footprint through a combination of organic expansion and targeted acquisitions. The US wind sector has grown rapidly in recent years and continues to scale, driving increasing demand for specialist maintenance, blade repair and at-height services. Rope Partner’s established market position and SPRAT-certified training capability strengthen FairWind’s ability to serve this market and develop a skilled, safety-driven workforce in the United States.

Triton Partners acquired FairWind in 2021 to build a leading global wind services business. The addition of Rope Partner is a further step in that journey, deepening FairWind’s technical capabilities across the turbine lifecycle and extending its reach in the Americas.

Stewart Mitchell, CEO at FairWind said: “The US wind sector has seen rapid growth in recent years, and Rope Partner brings highly specialised expertise in blade repair and at-height services that directly complement our core capabilities. By combining our global experience in turbine installation and service with Rope Partner’s technical strengths, we are in a strong position to scale our presence and further support customers with high-quality solutions across the full lifecycle of their assets. Rope Partner’s established training programmes will also enable us to further invest in developing a highly skilled, safety-driven workforce in the United States.”

Eric Stanfield, CEO at Rope Partner said: “Joining FairWind not only strengthens our position in the North American renewables market but opens up exciting opportunities for growth as part of a world-leading wind energy company. We look forward to reaching new markets, bringing greater capability to our clients, and playing a bigger role in the global transition to sustainable energy - all while upholding the excellent safety and quality reputation that both companies have built over the years.”
