The acquisition of the Swiss hoster METANET is the fourth acquisition of the dogado group in the calendar year 2021. dogado has successfully integrated a total of 28 companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland into its Cloud & Domains and Digital Marketing business units under CEO Daniel Hagemeier. 'Our ambition is to combine the best products and experts in a unique way within our company,' Hagemeier explained the dogado group's integration strategy. In this way, the company aims to constantly create better offers for its customers in the online business world. 'We are now implementing this strategy throughout the DACH region,' commented Hagemeier on the first acquisition in Switzerland.
The mission that METANET entrepreneurs Tilia and Mirco Schnarwiler have been pursuing for a long time fits seamlessly into the strategy of the dogado group: 'We want to offer reliable web solutions with fast and personal support to make small and medium-sized businesses successful online,' Tilia Schnarwiler explains the successful recipe behind METANET. The merger with dogado makes it possible to take the next step with the brand, Tilia Schnarwiler continues: 'We will expand our product portfolio and work together to grow even stronger in the Swiss market.' To this end, business will be continued and expanded from the Zurich location and also the data center site in Switzerland.
The dogado group with main offices in Dortmund (Germany), Vienna (Austria) and now also Zurich (Switzerland) has around 370,000 customers. More than 580 employees support the product portfolio of the business units Cloud & Domains and Digital Marketing Services.
