Van Gemeren Mechanisatie continues under the Kamps de Wild banner

20.05.2022

Zevenaar / Numansdorp (Netherlands), 20 May 2022 - Van Gemeren Mechanisatie has today become part of Royal Reesink, a Triton Fund V portfolio company and one of the largest international equipment distribution and aftermarket services platforms. This step is a logical continuation of the many years of successful collaboration between Van Gemeren Mechanisatie and Kamps de Wild. Both companies are renowned names in the agricultural sector with strong brands such as CLAAS, BERGMANN, AMAZONE, Schmotzer, Nucrop, Holmer, Baselier and Kärcher. By joining forces, Van Gemeren Mechanisatie will be able to further expand its position in the southwest of the Netherlands.

Dick Melessen, Divisional Director: “Van Gemeren Mechanisatie is a renowned player in the southwest of the Netherlands, an important area for the agricultural sector’s future. Through intensive collaboration with full-line dealers, we aim to be closer to the end users and provide them with an even better service. The collaboration between Van Gemeren Mechanisatie as a strong local dealer and Kamps de Wild as an importer leads to a greater focus on customer satisfaction, after-sales and service. We are delighted with the arrival of Van Gemeren Mechanisatie."

Thierry Panadero, Sr. Vice President of Reesink Agriculture & Turfcare underlines the importance of a good partnership: “By joining forces, we can serve our customers even better. Royal Reesink supports its companies in this by harmonising working methods, digitalization and the use of tools and systems. This support allows us to look forward to a bright future together.”

The faith he had in the expertise of Royal Reesink and Kamps de Wild gave managing director Johan van Gemeren the courage to hand over the reins of his company. Van Gemeren: “To secure the future of our company, we decided to continue with an external party. Kamps de Wild, with its parent company Royal Reesink, was the best and most logical choice; a party with strength, a good reputation and knowledge of our product range. We see opportunities here for the company, our customers and suppliers, and it offers excellent prospects for the staff. I have every confidence in it.”
