Beate joined from her previous role as Group Vice President Purchasing for plastics film company Klöckner Pentaplast, a portfolio company of Blackstone, with global responsibility for the procurement of Direct and Indirect Materials. She led a strategic transformation of the procurement and supply chain organisation at global telecommunications business Ayava, a previous KKR company. She is the former Head of Group Purchasing and Supplier Quality Assurance of Dräger Medical, world market leader in intensive care and anesthesia devices. Beate has a degree in Commerce and has participated in the MBA program at Steinbeis University, Berlin, in cooperation with the University of St. Gallen and DePaul University, Chicago.
