Nordic Tankers joins forces with Crystal Pool

Copenhagen (Denmark), 5 November 2015 - Triton Fund III Portfolio Company Nordic Tankers intends to form a jointly held company, Crystal Nordic, together with Crystal Pool. The company will be a strong player in short sea, ice class chemical tanker trade. Crystal Nordic will be owned 50/50 by Nordic Tankers and Embarcadero Maritime (Borealis Maritime). Crystal Nordic will take over the respective ice classed stainless chemical tankers businesses which currently operate under the Nordic Tankers and Crystal Pool trade names. All other Nordic Tankers-operations are unaffected by the new partnership.

The partnership is subject to approval by the competition authorities and the parties have agreed not to disclose any financials.
