Core investment principles
Our investment strategy is to invest in leading businesses in
Northern Europe. These businesses typically are mid-market
companies within three sectors: Business Services, Industrials and Consumer / Health.
Triton and its professionals have been working and investing in these core sectors and geographies for decades. We also have backgrounds and experiences in other relevant sectors and geographies including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, North America, China and India.
We believe in the following core investment principles:
Value oriented, disciplined investing: Triton is pro-actively working to identify and invest in leading businesses with potential for change and growth through operational developments and acquisitions. We have learned the merits of investing in geographies, businesses and industries that we have experience in.
Build Better Businesses: Triton seeks to enhance the prospects and results for businesses we invest in. We have a long-term investment horizon to ensure time for positive real change and the building of better businesses. Our industry sector expertise, local presence and an active owner approach provide the basis for positive change and growth through operational developments and acquisitions.
An experienced team executing a consistent strategy: Triton offers the businesses and management teams that we invest with full access to our industry, strategic and operational capabilities as well as specialist debt, execution and structuring skills. Together with industry experts we seek to support management teams in their ambitions to build effective industry leaders of larger scale.
Responsible ownership and sound governance: Triton endeavours to be a forward-looking, responsible owner and a good partner to all stakeholders that we work with, including employees, customers, suppliers, management teams and society at large. We seek to contribute insights and resources to the boards of directors and management teams that we invest and partner with.
When we make mistakes we strive to recognize, learn, change and improve from them.
